With deep reverence, we write to seek your support in preserving Namgung Monastery (Namgung Changchub Ling), a sacred sanctuary dating back 700-800 years in the sacred Dolpo region of the Himalayas. This ancient monastery, one of the three oldest mother monasteries in Dolpo, now faces urgent preservation needs.

Throughout its rich history since the early centuries of Buddhism in Dolpo, Namgung has served as a vital center for Buddhist study and practice. Revered masters such as Jowo Ngawang Namgyal and Karma Lobzang have maintained pure lineages of teaching and meditation within these walls, establishing Namgung as one of the region's most significant spiritual centers. Today, its historic structures—including meditation caves, temples, and precious artifacts—require immediate attention to prevent further deterioration.

Our preservation initiative encompasses:
